防鼠三不政策 慎防漢他病毒
國內日前出現今年首例漢他病毒出血熱確診病例，為漢他病毒所引起的人畜共通傳染病，苗栗縣衛政局提醒，維持良好的環境及滅鼠是防範病毒侵襲最有效的方法，把握防鼠三不政策「不讓鼠來、不讓鼠住、不讓鼠吃」，落實環境清潔，才能有效降低疾病散播風險。（記者劉家甄 採訪報導）
疾管署日前公布國內出現今年首例漢他病毒出血熱確診病例，苗栗縣政府表示，根據疾管署歷年統計資料顯示，從2001年截至目前為止，共出現15例漢他病毒出血熱確診病患，且男性感染風險占93.3％，感染者的年齡多為20歲至29歲，其中市場、夜市居民及工作人員為感染的高危險群，漢他病毒出血熱是由感染漢他病毒引起，一般可能會出現發燒、頭痛、倦怠、腹痛、下背痛、噁心、嘔吐或不等程度出血現象並侵犯腎臟等，為人畜共通傳染病，但不會藉由人傳人感染，在自然界的傳播宿主為囓齒類動物，尤其是環境中常見的老鼠，人一旦吸入或接觸遭老鼠糞屎污染帶有病毒飛揚的塵土、物體或被帶病毒地囓齒類動物咬傷，即可能受到感染，潛伏期約數天至兩個月，提醒民眾多留意環境清潔，以降低疾病散播風險。
苗栗縣政府衛生局表示，防鼠工作有三不政策，包括「不讓鼠來、不讓鼠住、不讓鼠吃」，維持良好的環境及滅鼠是防範漢他病毒侵襲的不二法門，如遇鼠糞或鼠尿，應先配戴口罩及橡膠手套，用稀釋漂白水或酒精先行噴灑，待消毒作用30分鐘後再行清理，以策安全。
